A WORD ABOUT FEES

Taughannock Aviation is continually attempting to meet the needs of our transient customers. Unfortunately we are forced to implement charges that will assist us in meeting operating expenses. By collecting Facility Fees, as we have labeled them, Taughannock is able to offer those “little� services to our transient customers. Fuel purchases of predetermined amounts, based upon aircraft MGLW, may waive fees.

We are an AVFUEL dealer. We also participate in the AVTRIP incentive point program!

The importance of ensuring clean, dry aviation fuel should never be underestimated. For those who may think that "fuel is fuel" and that special attention need not be paid to quality control methods, think again. Taughannock Aviation prides itself in NOT becoming complacent regarding our Quality Control procedures.

We adhere to the strict quality control procedures set forth within ATA 103 revision 6 as well as fuel and safety standards within ASTM methods, AC150 5230-4, FAR 139.321, NFPA 407 and suggestions by NATA. Branded by Avfuel, we strive to uphold their reputation as one of the leaders in aviation fuels. Taughannock Aviation is routinely audited by outside agencies such as various commercial carriers, local authorities, the FAA and Wyvern.
